Service, shipping was good. I bought a beautiful knife that didn’t come with a saya. I had to buy a cheap looking generic item. For the price I paid for the blade it should come with a matching saya, to match the handle or at least painted to match. I’m actually painting Snakewood patterns and lacquering the saya myself. :/

The Takamura knives are incredibly sharp, beautifully balanced, and a pleasure to use. The craftsmanship feels exceptional, and they make everyday prep noticeably easier. They arrived well packaged and exactly as described. Customer service was also excellent—friendly, helpful, and responsive.

I chipped my knife pretty badly and needed it repaired (it's my favorite knife!) The staff did a great job answering my questions and explaining the process to me. My knife was returned to me repaired and restored to its former glory.
