This is the second water pot we have purchased and it is great. The first water pot I bought for our teen oboist daughter was purchased 4+ years ago, and finally needed replacing. It works so well for her during marching season when she has solos on the field, and carries her easily through concert season and various orchestral competitions. Highly recommend!!

Plays beautifully straightaway. Nice luxurious sound with not too much effort.

Very handy to take two or three reeds and even a short pencil. Obviously it doesn't work on plastic stands that you sometimes get in halls, but great on normal metal ones. Recommended.

Just what I was looking for after trying a couple other vendors ( to be fair they were long scrape.)

The thumb rest was a little tight to get on but otherwise a good fit for my son's oboe. Would recommend and buy again.
