I am very happy with this product. I had tried another product first and was not having very much luck. The IronDoggy leashy is a much better fit. First, more distance between my dog and I when running, but also able to quickl grab the handles and shorten that distance. I can also increase the belt around the waist to fit properly around me. Very happy I found this product.

I received my dog leash and additional "solo pocket" within 2 days. I was so excited that I received this product so fast. I have been taking my golden retriever on runs with me every day since I received this. I already have been recommending this product to all of my running friends who have dogs. This product is well built, strong and created smart. Easy to switch sides with dog mid-run. The extra solo pocket is a great add on to hold poop bags.. The hands free running leash is the best ever! I have tried many, but this is just the top of the line. One can tell runners feedback went into the product! The free gliding of the leash on the belt, makes changing side smooth and safe. Yeah. And I love the handles for necessary safety stops. I run with my dog , she is a service dog for my disabled son and this leash let's my dog make her own intelligent choices of where to run and how to stay close enough. Very well done and my new favorite leash not only for running. My friends all want one! I can only highly recommend this product and this being said let me add: I never write reviews!

I love it.. It works great with my lab mix who loves to run, the hunting mix in her makes it hard to run with a traditional leash( she loves to hunt lizards and frogs) so being on my waist is great when running with her, she doesnt have the ability to pull me as much as she is closer to me.

Love, love, love my hands-free running leash. The multiple length options are great and the little bit of give in the leash makes it much more forgiving on your low back when the dog pulls. I recommend this leash to any runner that has a dog as a running partner.

The Iron Doggy Hands-Free Leash is a life-saver. I have two 50lb dogs: a Lab mix and an American Bulldog and I am 5'2'', so taking the two out together safely has always been a challenge. I have tried various methods of walking, hiking and running with my rambunctious and highly energetic dogs and had not found anything that fit the bill, until I came across the Iron Doggy leash! The durability and strength of the leash was exactly what I was looking for. I love, love, love the bungee in the leash because it makes those unexpected pulls to run toward something, so much more tolerable and I like that the length of the leash is adjustable. I have the side kick leash and belt with the easy walk harness on my 65 lbs American Staffordshire. I have the most comfortable run with my dog and I hardly feel a pull from my dog. I like the Rings on the leash to shorten the length for when my dog slows down when running. I recommend this product and you will not be disappointed.

It's a great leash. Puppy chew through the first one, though (our bad). He's eaten lots of leashes, so it's not anything specific to this one. Puppies... Not for a dog less than 25 pounds, probably, because it's pretty sturdy. Very high quality product and excellent customer service, too. Very happy customer!

I purchased this leash so I can begin running with my Chocolate Lab. It is the best running leash I have seen on the market by far. It easily adjusts to different waist length so that both my wife and myself can use it. The other good thing about it is the fact that you can adjust the distance that your dog can roam. there is a clip halfway down the bungee leash that can be clipped to the belt so the leash length is shortened by half. The bungee is also good because it gives a little tug before having to stop and pull the dog. I would buy this again if I get a second dog.

We have a 65 lbs. dog and my husband and I are both competitive runners. The leash slides easily around the waist when the dog changes positions. We would never use the maximum length of the leash as the dog would likely get tangled from too much slack. The handle to grab when passing other runners is well positioned and works well to control the dog. Overall, the leash is heavy but sturdy. It is perfect for longer runs, and perfect for using when running pushing a stroller too.

The belt and leash are great! I run with my 60 pound boxer mix too - he has a tendency to go all over the place, so the belt and short leash helps.

This is a great, fully thought out leash. I love the knots throughout it for when you need to gain control of your dog. The waist belt is easily adjustable, and the leash clips onto it. Now I just need to train my dog to run well with it!

I have a 100 lb 8 month old puppy that is still in leash training. This leash has saved my from the sudden charges my puppy sometimes does. I loop it in half and all the shock is taken up by the two bungee cords.

This is a great solution to running with your dog. Our cross Labrador/ Collie Wally is very energetic and sporadic and this helps to keep us both grounded! The lead is a bit long for just a walk, but for a jog/ run it is perfect and my one year old dog soon caught on to the fun and now strides by my side!

This leash is great. My dog loves it because it gives her freedom to move and I love it because it sits comfortably on my waist and keeps my hands free.

I am very happy with the Iron Doggie hands free leash. I bought the longer leash and added on an additional leash as I have two large dogs. I can't believe I had not tried hands free leashes before. It made my run go so much smoother and I still had control over the dogs. :) The only thing that I was I wish was included was an additional metal clip for the second leash to attach it to the waistband. I like having one dog by each side of me when I run and the additional leash did not come with an extra clip. The way it is sold makes it so you have to have both dogs off one main point, which does not work well for me. So right now I folded the additional leash around the waistbelt - this made it so I can have a dog at each hip, and also shortened the leash as I like the dogs to run closer to me than farther away. Would definitely recommend this to leash to fellow runners!

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. I absolutely love it! It works great for my 80 lb Malamute. It gives us both a little freedom, yet control when you need it.

I run with my 80lb boxer and 90lb rhodesian ridgeback. I've tried EVERYTHING from harness, gentle leaders to sewing my own contraptions to keep them together. But until I found Iron Doggy I was constantly tugging at them or having my hips pulled in every direction. It was the debate everytime I went to run- did I take them OR get a good run in? I LOVE my new leash. It might be a little on the heavy side but since Im not running for time it's perfect to get them out. They run side by side in front of me and even if my boxer darts to sniff it doesnt pull me left to right. I would highly recomend!!
