The Ultra 16 Mil Solar Cover beat my expectations, especially in reducing heat loss on chilly Florida nights. Also, even though the pool is in a screen enclosure, the sun manages to raise the temperature a few degrees during the day. This pump works remarkably well for my above ground winter cover that I purchased from InTheSwim. The cover drain is weighted so it stays in place. Thought the hose was a little too flexible but it works perfectly. This pump works better than anything I have ever used for keeping the water off my pool cover.
