Started out pretty cool. Unfortunately the ants ate a hole through the side of the farm and now are everywhere! It took me a while to figure it out because all the plastic doorways were closed tightly; however I finally discovered they munched right through the foamy side to create their own exit. Certainly smart ants. We fed and watered often I just think they wanted to escape. I guess I can’t blame them but now I’m finding red ants everywhere.

Watching the caterpillars grow was great; none of the cocoons were viable, even following all the instructions. Not sure what happened.

The instructions should have been in more detail, I was disappointed that I wasn’t aware ahead of time to leave them in a cold spot until spring time. Very bummed but will probably get them again

This kit was a huge hit with my daughter. She loved the caterpillars, who became butterflies, and all five hatched!

We got 10 ladybugs as result and released the to nature. .
