Part fixed machine as expected.
I finally took the plunge and purchased a Profitec Drive Pro 700 and Eureka Mignon Specialita Grinder from HomeCoffeeMachines. ie. The pre-sales customer service via Live Chat was actually very helpful. After some back and forth, I committed to the purchase and waited patiently for delivery. Upon receiving the package, I noticed that the outer shipping box had already been opened and resealed. When lifting the box by its handles, I could tell that the internal packaging had been disturbed, as I could not fully insert my hand through one handle. I reported this to Live Chat and was told, “the warehouse sometimes opens them to put smaller items inside,” and reassured me that it was not a problem, and that I should open the machine. Upon inspection, I immediately observed multiple components showing clear signs of prior use or potentially poor QC. Here is a detailed summary of the issues I reported and how they were handled: • Outer box resealed: Dismissed as “warehouse sometimes open boxes. ” • Drip tray scratched front and back: Offered partial replacement only, which would not arrive for several weeks. • Group head showing wear/overtightening marks: Ignored; significance denied, though the internal wear was consistent with repeated use. • Flow-control valve leaking: Ignored despite clear video evidence. • Missing pump transport bolt: Ignored entirely; should have ensured safe shipping. • Copper fitting scuffed and front bolts gouged: Ignored. • PID not at factory defaults: Ignored; calibration inconsistent with factory settings. • Accessories (blind basket, portafilter) showing wear: Ignored. None of these points received a credible or complete remedy. Instead of acknowledging mistakes, I was met with excuses, sarcasm, and intimidation. Each interaction reinforced a dismissive and defensive attitude that made resolution increasingly difficult. A simply excellent customer experience! When thinking of upgrading my espresso machine I had many, many questions. I bought a coffee machine in February through this website, placing a pre-order. After a long wait, we received a defective and non-functional machine. We started a return using a UPS label provided by the seller. Unfortunately, the shipment was never properly completed: the tracking stopped updating and it’s unclear whether the machine was lost or never delivered back to the seller. I was told I’d receive a refund once UPS confirmed the loss – but that’s when the problems really began. After nearly 100 emails and months of waiting, the seller completely stopped responding. Their live chat support also began ignoring my messages, offering no updates or assistance. At this point, I’ve lost almost €3000 and haven’t heard anything back. Beyond the financial loss, it’s incredibly frustrating to be met with total silence. I strongly advise against buying from this store – if anything goes wrong, you will be completely ignored.
When a delivery went missing, the supplier immediately sent a replacement without any hassle. Really appreciated how professionally they handled the situation. Great service!
Our 3 yr old Nespresso Sage Creastista Plus started pouring out water from the base. It would have cost us €420 to replace like for like from a shop. Found this business online hoping it could be fixed instead. Amazing communication and totally upfront re costings etc after assessing it. Repaired, serviced and return post for €213, saving us €200. Would highly recommend.

My 20 year old Gaggia Classic had stopped working so I mailed HCM Ltd and Ciaran very kindly outlined the service they offer and arranged for a courier to collect the machine. It needed some new parts and arrived back by courier like the day it was bought. Fantastic service. Thank you!

Our Breville Barista Touch kept throwing an Error 05 code. Upon research it seemed the wiring to the thermostat was the cause. It looked like an easy fix, but I was not able to find a part available in the US. I was worried ordering from Ireland would take forever but we received our part in 1 week. The switch was easy and our machine is now working again!
Following my Sage machine going in the bin, I was looking for a dependable, durable machine. Within minutes of starting a chat on the website, Ciaran suggested a quick call, and following some questions to get to know my coffee habits, recommended a new Profitec machine. I am very impressed with the time taken to find the right fit for me, rather than just selling the new hotness. Excellent service and value. I ordered a new boiler and pump for my machine. The parts arrived within a couple of days and were exactly the same quantity as the original Gaggia parts.
