Because the service I received when I ordered my glasses was exceptional, I didn't want to trust an unknown provider to switch out my progressive lenses. Progressives, in my experience, can be complicated, and not everyone in my small town has been able to do work at this level. My email was responded to swiftly and with a minimal back and forth, I had a plan to get the work done. Very happy loyal customer.

I paid for a diferent lens color
My experience initially was a great experience. Easy buying process and great customer service! Unfortunately, when it came time for me to get my Cartier glasses adjusted/repaired they had referred me to locations within my state that were authorized Cartier sellers or boutiques that can repair my frames. One place “Optica” for the first time attempted to repair my glasses and when I informed Visionist on my experience they wanted me to send my glasses in, but didn’t offer free shipping and my glasses were still under warranty. Also, all of my concerns wasn’t addressed which is a headache within itself! So my shipping fee out the window. There has been a few times I sent my glasses to their recommended authorized repair place “Optica” since the other places are unreasonably far from where I reside and it’s more convenient than me paying for shipping to New York. Anyway on these occasions my glasses came back either damaged or not properly repaired (missing mechanisms/pieces that makes my frames whole). I’m beyond frustrated to say the least!! I have had to many bad experiences, If I wasn’t under warranty then I could understand charging me the shipping fee to correct a mistake that their recommended repair place made. But my issue was that I was under warranty, also having them shipped to New York, which is beyond an inconvenience because one I don’t live in New York and two I’m running the risk of my glasses being lost in transit and the insurance that a place like the USPS, FedEx, or UPS provide only goes up to a few hundred dollars when my frames were over $3000! So even if they are lost in transit, then that’s thousands of dollars I wouldn’t get back even with the travel being insured! This is the exact reason I’ve been forced to go to their recommended repair place “Optica” that’s reasonably close to where I reside.

Easy company to do business with. My first set of glasses were not what I expected and I had a hassle free, easy, return. I ordered my second choice and I am very pleased with them. The packages come quick and they are safely packed. I like that I had to sign for the package from ups, especially in these high theft times. Great experience!
