I bought a 2 kilo ring of blue Stilton cheese for a Christmas present for a friend, and two 1 kilo half rings. The half rings were perfect but I was very disappointed with the 2 kilo ring. First of all it weighed slightly less than two kilos and as it was an end piece, a quarter if an inch was crust and not edible cheese. I feel that this should have been taken into account when cutting the cheese. Having spent £96 pounds this year ( and have I spent a lot with Hartington Creamery on other occasions) I feel greatly let down. I spoke to Paul at the Packing Station and he indicated this had been a problem in the beginning and he would communicate with the Creamery and call me back. I have yet to receive this call. Please look into this for me and get back to me. Yvonne Williams

Despite the clear instruction to keep in a Fridge, it was put in my safe place even though I was at home. I admit my safe place would be cool at this time of year but that's not the point

This was my first purchase for some time. There was a good range of cheeses, ordering was simple and I was kept informed of the progress of my order. The cheeses were well packed and even the cool pack had instructions for its safe disposal. Thank you Hartington, and I hope to use the discount offer which came with my order.
