I bought the HAMMITT Charles Crossbody in black and red for a trip to Europe, and it was absolutely the perfect travel bag. The passport pocket is such a smart feature, and everything I needed fit easily in the front without feeling too bulky. I especially loved being able to wear it securely across my chest while walking around Munich and other busy areas without constantly worrying about pickpocketing. It gave me so much peace of mind while still looking stylish. The leather is incredibly buttery soft, and the quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from HAMMITT. This is my third HAMMITT bag, and it definitely won’t be my last.

The bag is great and I love it!

I love the size, color, style, and quality of this bag. I would change one thing however. I would like the cloth strap to be removable so I can use the long silver chain to dress it up. I clasped the strap to the back of the bag, but it would be a very easy modification for Hammitt to make the strap removable on both ends.

Any Hammitt bag you chose to purchase is exceptional, I have purchased at least 10 bags over a period of 12 years. I like carrying my bags for a long range of time instead of changing often. Now I have built a nice selection to chose from now. Mine have held up nicely and do not look worn.
