Works like it should per ANSI TIA/EIA-422 Requirements, stay away from the China made version that are "cheating" with using one on side of the balance RS422 for detection and reading data, nothing but problems.

We like this chip. It would be better if the site showed the correct pictures for each one of the models. Its confusing becuase the straight pins put the LPT100 in paralell to the board it is mounting into. The 90 degree pins put it at a 90 degree angle, but the pictures are all incorrect for the items. Additionally there is the matter of the antenna. It would be a better ad if these items were fixed.

It's a great little but powerfull device ideal for low cost connections. Only complaint is the plastic case that seems to be not that good quality, my 2 devices show the same little crack in the middle.

Excellent device. I have used several on PLC to Radio Modem applications and they always work great.

I have tested and had customers use these modems in the monitoring of our solar PV monitoring system. We use RS-485 to communicate to the Data Logger and sometimes wiring that into an existing building is nearly impossible. Using these modems it is as simple as setting them up and plugging in the wires. I have used them in commercial buildings where they had to communicate 120 ft. from the array through the ceiling with aluminum backed insulation and through 8" concrete walls and they worked perfectly. Customers have used them on ground mounts and out buildings to get the monitoring to the main building and again had no problems. Just remember that you need to get the programming cable and set them up.

The ordered module has not the temperature range as stated in the product description and the titel. Its therefore useless for us.

The only needed improvement I can think of (and its minor) involves the default view setting. Right now, when you first arrive at the site, only one of your devices is in the "expanded" view state. You have to hit the "+" sign to see the values such as temp and humidity of any other sensors. It would be nice if there was a choice to have all the devices appear in expanded view at initial arrival at the site.
