Do not order, I never received the sailing pants. Nobody ever followed up, even after I called the company and said I have never received the pants. The lady on the phone said she will call me and let me know. Nothing ever happened. I have followed up with an email and nothing happened again no answer. I I have to dispute charges and report the company.

When I ordered a pair that were too big, these were easily returned and a new pair sent out promptly. Very good service.

This is the 3rd pair I bought. I only bought them because they are the only waterproof sailing shorts I can find. Waterproof shorts help when hiking on wet rails. The first 2 pairs I found to be of low quality, pockets stretching failed and the middle white waterproof layer starts shredding within a few years. This 3rd pair seems to be a better stronger fabric and the stitching looks better. Can't tell if the white waterproof layer is any better. So I gave a hopeful 3 star. My other Gill clothes have the same problem of the waterproof layer shredding. That shredding problem is the reason why a usually buy clothing from other manufactures
