I purchased this arm as a replacement for 5700 Series boom stand that sits a tight space. The “toothless tilt” and lock lug are very effective to help you dial in the perfect angle. I also use a Gibraltar satellite hit had boom with the same features. I encourage the addition of these features on all Gibraltar stands in the future!
