The best company for pipe and drape

In general, I am satisfied with my purchase of the tech drape kit and case. However, when the kit arrived via shipping, I was surprised at how all of the items in the hard case (which I paid an extra premium for) were strewn about. In the videos on the site, it looks as if all of the uprights, stands, and crossbars have explicit areas in the case where they are placed. This is indeed not the case at all. Instead, it's a well padded interior (including lid), but all of the pipes, bases, and hardware are just laid in however you can fit them. There is nowhere near enough room to include the drape (another thing the site suggests in their video on the product), and there were bits of what appear to be pick and pluck foam which were also strewn about with all of the hardware. My guess is that the loose foam had something to do with keeping everything neat and tidy inside the case, but it was not attached in any way to the case. It was just floating around amongst the hardware. The hardware does shift around in the case, regardless of how you pack it. There are no grooves or foam holders for anything. Again, watching the video for this product made it look as if there was. I'm a little disappointed that I paid a premium for the case and it came in such disarray. I will reiterate, the case is sturdy and well padded. I don't mean to suggest that it's a huge problem. However, I also paid extra to get the black anodized uprights, and I wish I hadn't. , because all of the hardware slides around in the case when moved, I'm already seeing small scratches on the uprights, and I've had this set for a week. Totally cosmetic, they're completely covered when in use anyway. Just a little annoying that I paid extra to have a more refined look, and that look will diminish within a few uses. All of that said, the tech drape kit worked well on the first job I used it. It went up very quickly and came down just as quickly. No complaints there.
