Latches or clad cable does not last long enough have made several repairs in the last 3 years. It's not good when your pet gets off with part of a cable hanging from the collar.

Easy install, and was a selling point when we moved.

Very well made product. Received quickly. Easy to install. My one comment is that the shock absorbing spring that is sold separately should be part of the package. We bought two springs after we installed the run after seeing our dog jerked to the ground. For the comfort of your dog you must use the spring(s). At least for a 50 pound and up dog. After installing the springs it works beautifully.
