I recently received the E7 Pro. The frame feels exceptionally robust, which is impressive, though it does make the unit a bit challenging to lift due to its weight.

I contemplated sometime between a Desky or FlexiSpot purchase. Eventually FlexiSpot won out hands down. Let me start by saying in my 50 years plus, with designing and building furniture, and fabricating and working with metal to repair countless items, that I have never seen such a well-engineered product. I thoroughly enjoyed assembling it. The instructions were simple and concise. BUT!! your company almost lost out not only on this 4-leg standing desk, but my subsequent purchases of your top-of- the-line office chair and Gaming Table. What is a desk without a drawer? Especially one that raises and lowers. Had it not been for my years of experience that I recognized immediately that a simple modification of your competitor Desky gap, under the desk drawer could be fitted. (With ONLY a simple hacksaw, vice, file and drill). So, not only did you miss $129 on this order, but I am sure many others have bypassed your company for this reason. This is apparent in the chat groups where confusion runs rampant on the question of whether your 4 legged standing desk can accommodate a drawer. When I queried your company I was told, emphatically, that this design could not have a drawer! Never tell me I CAN'T! Another issue for me was your options for table tops. with such a quality product I wanted a long lasting hardwood surface. Not only bamboo. To note, Desky has this option. So Bunnings, for $199 ( 33mm x 900mm x 2400mm) hardwood slab, cut it to 33mm x 800mm x1700mm (for free). I then edged it with my router and applied 6 coats of varnish. So, to reiterate, I feel that FlexSpot products are of exceptional quality and reasonably priced. I hope that's some of this reaches the powers that be so that the this companies position in the market is secure because I'd like to see these guys around for a long time. The item was shipped promptly, and I am pleased with the entire experience.

Finally, my desk load paranoia has come to an end. My previous desk was the IKEA Idasen with a maximum load capacity of 75 kg. Using a large, solid wood desktop, heavy loudspeakers and a lot of Hi-Fi equipment got me uncomfortably close to the maximum load capacity and every time I'd lift the desk I could hear it struggling to go up. That's what motivated me to get the Flexi Spot E7 Plus. Now that the load capacity has substantially increased by at least 125 kg I could finally do what I had planned a long time ago, to build a large shelf attached to the underside of the desktop which holds all my cables on one side and on the other side 2 audio mono blocks, three heavy linear power supplies and more gear to come. I also like the fact that the desk, before coming to a stop, slows down very smoothly which the IKEA desk did not. It used to just stop abruptly and everything on the desk was shaking. Because I need to get behind my desk frequently, I decided to install dual function heavy-duty industrial casters. They have a ratchet lever which can crank the wheels up and down. When the wheels are up and the pads are down the desk is as solid as a rock. So the Flexi Spot has solved all my problems and I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it to anybody. It's an upgrade you will not regret.

The shipping was extremely fast. Both packages arrived on the same day. The instructions were mostly easy to read but I think need to be a little bit more explained in the last little bit more. Overall, I'm happy with hell the setup worked, the shipping and the overall product trying to find it.
