I loved how easy it was to use . Great maple flavor to the burgers I cooked (pair with some bacon ) .Evenly cooked with no flare up
Glad I made the right decision. First cook was burgers. Soooooo much better than just the gas grill.
Love the charcoal taste and quick sear on my gas grill with no mess!
I was thinking about going back to a charcoal grill till I came across this product. Grilled a stake and tasted great!
it really dials up the heat on my gas grill, can get a quick sear without overcooking the meat!!
Unbeleavable. I went from a typical gas grill to a charcoal flavor and a smoker all by adding FlavrQ. I wish I had thought of this.
If you are reading this review, you are a grilling enthusiast so apologies for the lengthy review. But you are going to love this product. I have been a hardcore charcoal guy for 40 years. Before I found FlavorQ, I used my 26"Weber kettle for 90% of my cooks. IMO the dry high heat and flavor profile that charcoal gives cannot be replicated by a propane source, no matter how how many degrees you get out of the propane source. I also have a Weber Genesis 3 burner gas grill which I would only use when time was a factor or I needed to put out a lot of food quickly. Never did a memorable cook on a gas grill. In sum, FlavorQ gives you the total ease and speed of a gas grill cook, with the dry high heat and flavor profile of a charcoal cook. You simply lift your grill grates off your propane grill, put the flavorQ grids directly on top of the Weber flavorizer bars, reinsert the grates, and pour the FlavorQ chip charwood through the grates onto the grids. The charwood is very small shavings of sugar maple wood charcoals that easily fits thru the grate onto the grid. Want more temp and charcoal effect? Pour a little more charwood. If you are just grilling quick, use a little less. Fire up your gas grill, and three minutes later you are grilling OVER Sugar Maple Wood CHARCOAL. Such a great system! FlavorQ works on non-Weber gas grills, although it fits perfectly on top of the triangle-shaped flavorizer bars that Weber gas grills have used for some time. One note--you will get SERIOUS heat out of this. When you fire it up, keep the lid off and start it at a minimum propane setting. If you find it's not enough, you can always just turn up the gas. The amount of heat that the Grid and FlavorQ chip charwood throw is impressive. You may even find an indirect cook is needed for certain items. Count me as a huge fan of this system. I'll still use my kettle for long and slow indirect cooks, but my Weber gas grill is going to get a whole lot of use this summer!!!! Thank yo...
I don’t need cookies bullshit
We have tried it several times and it really works. We have a Green Egg sitting next to our gas grill but using the FlavrQ on the gas grill is so easy and gives the same bark and charcoal taste that we haven't used the Egg since. D & J Sanford
This product is brilliant ! Simple to use and adds the superior flavor of cooking with charcoal on your gas grill. Fits my Webber perfectly.
I got the charcoal flavor I was looking for. Curious to see how much ash is left after several uses. Gonna try it on salmon and see how the char flavor takes.
Easy to install and use. My grill cooks like new with the increased heat and the flavor from the wood chips is great! I love it so much I gave one to a friend!!
