I have one, got it a few weeks ago. I love it. I've learned that, after the charcoal gets going, I can turn off the gas and it's like a charcoal grill. Makes the best steaks and chicken. I have 4 weber kettles and 2 smokers. But wanted this for easy winter grilling and smoking. Works perfect. It's so easy.

Have a Cuisinart 5 burner. Great for slow cook. Hard to get a "flame broil" sear on steaks. Got my FlavrQ this week. Used it first time last night (2/23/2024). Got the best steaks off this grill in two years. Great sear and crust. Great charcoal flavor. So glad I found this product. I had almost given up on my grill!!

My first test was ribeye steaks! Unbelievable!!!

I bought this, tried it and I like it. A few observations: It doesn't take a whole lot of the char chips to get the flavor. No need to overdo. You'll get grill marks like you didn't think you could get on your gasser because it will burn quite hot, so rotate early for the crosshatch. This setup burns HOT, so cook to temp with probes. Depending on thickness of your meat, consider indirect zone or reverse sear, which this system seems perfect for. Highly recommend this gasser accessory. But like any other, there is a learning curve!

Easy to use!

It allows us grillers to be smokers! Excellent product. Used it just a few hours after it arrived. Excellent smoke. **I'll be using it again on Christmas!

I was skeptical at first, but decided to give this a try. It works perfectly and so easy to use. Love the charcoal aroma while BBQING, and it does a great job searing. I am pleasantly surprised!!!

The flavor of items I grilled were superbly enhanced! There was a certain sweet flavor I hadn't tasted before. Probably enhanced and emanating from the sugar maple wood chips. Superb!
