Package real nice, delivered quick

When I turned 21 in 1982 this was my drink of choice. Walkers & coke. When I drank hard liquor this was my favorite. My mom owned the Mackey tavern for many years and I was a bartender there for much of 1984. Walkers Deluxe Bourbon Whiskey was very popular with the crowd that hung out there. Walkers sold very well and we had to order a case every time the distributor stopped by. I saw a lot of people get loose after they drank a few shots of Walkers or had Walkers and coke which I also drank when not bartending and I must admit I drank too many on several occasions, but ain't that life? Those are precious memories that I shared with my friends when I was a younger man. I was upset when I could not buy it anymore and I've never really found another whiskey since that I like as much. Oh well!
