Came in, in perfect condition

Mine was beat to hell and back in shipping

I bought it from a retailer picked up at their store. It was in the manufacturer's packaging but lots of chipped paint/powder coating. I think it could have used bubble wrap between the layers to prevent that. Customer service was very responsive and sent a paint touch-up pen for the chips. I also bought a steamer grate and a lid. Those were packed very well. Bubble wrap. As far as cooking, it works ok. Really, really hot. I would prefer to be able to turn it down lower. The included instructions for seasoning mostly made smoke, char and a mess. The many posts on their FB group have other suggestions. I didn't think to look their first but those actually worked.

It is fun to cook on. You can cook alot of different foods with it.
