Review in Amazon that I wrote: I have had Fenix lights for many years now and have been very happy with them, and the fact that there is US representation for Customer service. The only practical advice I can give new buyers is to ensure that the battery in the Fenix and all other brand lights you are looking at is not proprietary to Fenix or any other brand, since they can discontinue availability at any time, which results in taking the light and throwing it in the trash, as in my Fenix RC40, a $250. 00 value, since Fenix battery ARB-L3 is no longer available. If you want a light that will run constantly at 3000 lumens, you better look at the 10,000 range lumen light-see below for details. The older models were a lot more accurate, and as in my RC40, it would run all day at 3000 lumens, and that is what was indicated in the spec for that light. PROS: Good build Non Proprietary battery Very good customer support CONS: Charging port has a hinged rubber flap which will eventually fail. I bought an external charger (Fenix) and extra battery, to be able to unscrew the cap and just replace the battery. Dimmer switch located in end cap. Without gloves, somewhat easy to find, but with gloves, good luck in finding it. Manufacturing is less expensive this way, and ability to use this end cap on multiple models, but dimmer switch should be located on the body, near the reflector. Spec of 2800 lumens, in my opinion, is not reality, and will run on this "turbo" only for a very short time, and switch to lower lumens due to heat and that seems to apply to a majority of their lights.

Just after a week my (rechargeable) Fenix 700mAH no longer holds a charge.

I love that this headlamp is bright enough but also has dim settings that I use most. I like how it's so small and can be used as a flashlight too.

I love all the products I've bought so far but would highly encourage better shipping. I've had troubles shipping every single product I've bought and maybe would encourage fenix to use UPS or fed ex. The mail system in OK seems to take forever, not track their products correctly and lose them

These lights are the best for any purpose! If you’re looking for a wounded deer you can find it best with the power of these lights. If you need a headlight to do close up work or far away work their lights are the ones you want to use.

Awesome light. This is my second one (spare). One for the hunting bag and 1 for home!
