39" was perfect for EP9 not having to remove my suppressor to carry in case
Excellent customer service
Had some difficulty with the FFL early in the purchase, but once that got worked out, the shipping was fast with no problems.
Flat Nickel Teflon Steel Trigger is a great upgrade. Shipping was fine. Always is. Coming up on 2 years with the EP9 and I'm still in love with it.
The disconnector on my trigger sheared off and customer support replies to me in broken English saying it is my fault the trigger broke. The entire trigger assembly is plastic and I was told it was not possible for the plastic to break. The entire gun was completely stock and had no "misuse" to cause a trigger issue.
Extar did a good job with dealing directly with customers. So far.
I have nothing but positive to say about my EP9.
No problems. Fast shipping.
Ok
This is my new #1! I couldn’t be happier.
Loving the EP9 so far. Have had some mag figment issues with Magpul magazines that I think will work out overtime on its own, but overall the gun itself is functioning reliably. For the price, it’s hard to complain. I’ve felt that 95% of competitor PCC’s are overpriced, this is priced exactly how it should be for what I the type of weapon it is and for that I am extremely happy. It is pleasant and fun to shoot, hardly any recoil whatsoever. My one knock worth noting is that the stock charging handle is basically useless, way too small. I have hit my knuckles on every red dot mount when charging it except for the Sig Romeo mount I had, because it’s luckily much slimmer than most others. I have already replaced it with the Firetail Cyclops handle and that is much more appropriate in size. Extar, if you’re reading this, just make the charging handle bigger and this gun is basically perfect out of the box.
Fantastic
When I called with pre-sales questions, I was treated with respect and patience and received great answers. As a result, I ordered an EP45.
When i first got the email that the . 45 was back in stock I thought I was dreaming. . . turns out, I was driving. . with my better judgement i let Jesus take the wheel of my truck, clicked the link to Extar's website and places my order, the big man understood and guided ol bessy just fine for those couple minutes. fast forward a couple weeks and sure enough, heaven (the gun store/ffl) was callin to inform me that the ghost of Dale Earnhardt (the mailman) had just stopped by deliver "sumn special for a special guy" (the EP45). i cranked ol bessy up and forced my way to the shop "if yens aint rubbin, ya aint racin". i walked through them doors, took a look to my left and there she was. . like a crackhead at the jobsite, just wanting to be loaded n fired. i buckled her in the backseat of bessy and was home before the empty can of skoal in the bed that flew out could even touch the ground. i loaded up every glock . 45 rd i could find (7) and gave my neighbors a show they didnt know they needed. and by god it was magical, from the crisp smooth trigger to the firm but gentle handguard, from the aphrodisiacal recoil to the wiggle of joy in my hips. . the rifle is the best firearms purchase i've made in a long time. so if you've ever dreamt of taking turn 3 with the intimidator, fightin commies w/ rambo or takin the ol lady out for nice steak in the general lee. . then this is the gun for you my amigo. stay frosty. . .
Very good pdw i would buy 3 more lol
Very fun range toy , very easy to use and train on
Love my Extar Ep9. I have over 1000 rounds with no issues.
The original plastic fire control group broke on my Gen 1. I replaced the plastic one with the steel version and it works perfectly.
I'd originally installed a mil spec trigger in my EP9 but it ended up "doubling". So, I decided to give the Extar Nickel teflon offering a try and it works like a champ. Nice crisp trigger and no doubling, and at a bargain price to boot!
Great customer service
