I needed something light to top a summer duvet cause I’m sooo hot. I’ve only had for a week and I LOVE it! Cozy, just the right weight…I wouldn’t change a thing!

I bought the Janus Reverso set of two hand towels and two bath towels during a recent promotion. I like the modern and sleek style and the colours are suited to my bathroom decor. The towels are beautiful, soft, and more plush than some more random brands found at Homesense or Winners, and certainly better quality than Ikea, JYSK or Walmart. Some reasons I chose Everlayer over other brands this time: Canadian-based company, ethical, EU-based manufacturing, and the of quality fibres used. I personally don't mind spending more to support Canadian companies and fairer manufacturing practices. That said, I was a bit disappointed in the minor loose threads and nicks in my brand-new towels. There were a couple on the bath towels, and at least one on one of the hand towels. Not the end of the world, but when looking over a finished product at this price point, I would hope that little things like this would be noticed. I will also mention that the colour of the towels are more muted in-person. I looked at the Everlayer website on various screens (my phone, my partner's phone, my laptop, etc), and I think the images they used for their products are just more vibrant on their website, giving the towels more of a richer colour than they are in person. Once again, not the end of the world, but it was noticeable. One final comment, shipping is free over $100 (an easy number to achieve if buying a set) and was super speedy and hassle free! If your budget accommodates, I would recommend giving Everlayer a try.

I appreciated the soft hand and that they were made in Portugal. The towels were a bit different- longer but not as wide as usual. I like that!
