I bought these shoes to replace another pair of KEENs that I had worn for multiple years. I like that KEENs last a long time in spite of how far I walk and how hard I tread. These shoes, like the other ones, support my ankle and keep it from moving back and forth in the shoe, which was causing tendonitis when I was primarily wearing another pair of shoes that were not KEENs. The shoes were comfortable to wear right out of the box, and the lacing options allow me to easily adjust how tightly the fit around the top and side of my foot.

I have not had any issues with any shoe I have purchased , except one . The only issue is the soles can be very slick on some surfaces . In Las Vegas after a light rain , I had an extremely hard time on the sidewalk surfaces . It fely like being on ice .
