Sorrry for the delayed review! Folks, we went to Ethical Mattress a few months ago with the intent of buying a new mattress for one room. We loved the experience - the people there are WONDERFUL - and over two weeks we ended up buying three mattresses with three adjustable beds. The deliveries were fast, smooth and pretty awesome and we love all of the beds. If you are in the market for a new bed, make Ehtical Mattress your first phone call and last. They have extremely high quality goods and their prices are terrific - especially in an industry where pricing can sometimes be very hard to understand. No games with these guys. Just high quality stuff at very fair prices. A+++++++++++++++++++++++

The ethical mattress is an incredible company. Truthfully, I am hard to impress, and I came across them because I was looking for a non toxic clean mattress for my toddler’s big boy bed. We went to the showroom and it was clean and smelled like essential oils. We went because they had avocado mattresses which I was eager to lay on and try given that seems to be a leading name in the non toxic mattress space. However, then I met Brian, the owner, and he also showed me his own brand of non toxic mattrssses, the ethical mattress, and i have to say for what we were looking for the firmness was perfect! It was also less expensive than the avocado but more importantly clean non toxic ingredients! Customer service was incredible, I needed it by a certain date and they made it happen. Now that we’ve had the mattress for a month or so we love it the whole fam reads books together and snuggles there and when it’s time for me and my husband to purchase a new mattress as well as for my other children I will 1000% be buying from the ethical mattress!

Overall, very happy with the mattress. Extremely comfortable, durable, has a nice bounce to it, and it's very reassuring sleeping on something proven to be natural and toxin-free. I've detracted a star for 2 reasons. 1: Due to a backorder, my mattress shipped late. I called and the manager was very accommodating, even bumping up my order to ship a couple days earlier after I had waited a week (from Friday to Thursday, so it'd arrive Saturday). Nevertheless, UPS didn't deliver it until the following week. So while the intention was there, which I appreciated, the customer service didn't really make a difference. 2. It does have a slight smell. I'm assuming it's the fresh latex. It's been about 3 weeks, and the mattress smells very faintly still, but it was much stronger upon first opening and inflating it. I'd imagine it'll subside over time. But some might find this to be annoying. 3. (Very minor), but it arrived without any sort of care manual. Everything is on the site, though, and you can call any time for the info, too. But maybe a good idea for future shipments!
