My husband took me to the Englin's Fine Store in Kokomo, IN., because I am having physical problems with my feet. I went into a very clean store. Sara waited on me. She brought out a couple pair of shoes and if I didn't care for one, she would go back and get a couple more. She was very patient and extremely kind as well as knowledgeable about all the shoes and with my foot problem. She put in an ankle support piece and I bought two pair of shoes. Because she took her time and helped me, I will return and buy more shoes there. Sara was great!

Thanks to Englin's, I have been able to quickly and easily compare many types of wide shoes, all of high quality. Most recently, I bought a pair of Dansko's "Paisley" lace-up shoes (for a price no higher than the price listed on the manufacturer's website). After I ordered them, they arrived super-fast! I really appreciated this, since my feet were hurting. When I walk in these shoes, I feel no pain! They provide perfect support. And they look nice too! They are really excellent shoes!

Who knew it was faster to buy boots from across the country, than from down the street. Englin's was fast, and one of the few choices that had the boots I wanted in stock. I tried twice to get a pair of boots I loved, at a very reasonable price. My feet are very hard to fit, and neither size fit properly, which was disappointing, but no fault of Englin’s. And they made the returns very easy. I will try again sometime due to the excellent customer service.

The shoes I ordered came faster than estimated on the website, However, they were the wrong shoes in the right box. Wrong size, wrong style. And since they were for an international trip an exchange was not an option so they were useless to me. The representative I spoke to could not have been more apologetic and understanding. I did not incur any shipping costs since it was their error. Textbook customer service. I just wish the wrong shoes hadn’t been put into the wrong shoe box.

I love these Munro boots! Since I had hammertoe surgery (Spring '19), I've been very cautious about the shape of the toe area of my shoes, as well as the height of the heel, which can force my foot to slide forward in the shoe, or put unnecessary pressure on my toes. Not with these boots. The 1 1/2" heel, gives some height, without being too extreme. The fabrication of the shoe, the fact that the suede-like fabric shaft pulls snuggly up the leg without being too loose / tight makes these boots worth every penny! Comfort, yet fashionable, not dowdy. Oh, and water-resistance products (Nikwax) can be applied to maintain your Munro investment.
