I bought two of these as bedside tables - the colour in real life is a lovely dusty pink, and it's a great size too. I thought the gold dot on the stand was the light switch but the switch is actually on the cord. Cord is a black cord covered in material Customer service was great when I had trouble adding the pink colour to cart. Found it useful it stated which light bulb was required.
