I purchased a full split king setup for my wife and I. I was able to customize each side of the mattress to our unique preferences. DIY mattress was very helpful giving recommendations and I really like the customization ability. We used one king quited cover so it had the appearance of one mattress but with two distinct sides. The materials were high quality and they didn't off gas like other foam mattress types I've purchased. I highly recommend DIY mattress and thier products!

The Talalay 2 layer and dunlop on the bottom is perfect. 9 inches total makes it easy to get into bed. Thanks to Roger , he helped me decide on the format. No smell or off gassing. So easy to install. Great product

We've had the mattress for three weeks now. We were looking to upsize our existing bed from a Queen to a King. We visited the mattress store in town a couple times. I watched far too many youtube videos. Our previous mattress was a Winkbed, which we enjoyed. We were about to get the same thing, but having done so much mattress research, I was intrigued by latex and wanted to give it a try. We ordered the three layers in the King split down the middle. My plan if we concluded that the mattress was not for us was to convert it into two twin xl beds for our kids. I was hesitant to jump into a DIY mattress, but knowing our backup plan was sound, we decided to go the DIY route for cost savings, quality of material and because we didn't need the backstop of returning the mattress. I'm pleased to say that we really enjoy sleeping on the bed and have no intentions of converting it for our kids. DIY Mattress is a great value compared to other ways to buy 100% latex mattresses.

Excellent! 2" soft, 2" medium Talalay on top of hybrid coil. The support and pressure relief is unlike anything I've had before. Much better than my old memory foam mattress that only lasted 6 months before getting a huge sag, ran too hot and was causing back pain.

I have an antique bed frame and I was concerned a bit about if it would creak but these coils are so supportive the frame doesn't move at all. Very easy setup and consistent product
