Audio quality stayed same over years. Functionality went down with remote. Can’t find the remote buttons in the dark unlike my old denon avr. Bluetooth lacks speed and being discoverable during pairing. Bluetooth also doesn’t say what device is last device connected during startup or give option to change devices.

The AVR-x2800 is an awesome receiver. Very easy to navigate through the setup and settings. When hooked to a tv and on screen the system walks you through every aspect of changing settings.

The ONLY issue is aesthetics. Everything else I have is Flat Black, this unit isn't. Connected to an Adcom GTP-350 pre-amp/tuner with an Adcom GFA-545II amp driving a pair of Klipsch 3 way speakers. SOUND IS EXCELLENT!!!!!!
