Had to remind CS to ship in the designated window (Fedex 2day) otherwise, it would have been 4-5days. Running 5. 1 polk satellite system (8"powered sub)-89db sensitivity. It is extremely time consuming to setup all the different sound modes (speaker levels, etc). The audyssey seems like a good idea and was fairly accurate on distance, but the overall speaker settings were way too low. After a week of constant tweaking, I am getting close; it still seems underpowered so I cant imagine a full 7. 1 setup with <88db sensitivity. Blu-ray/cd/fm radio all have good sound; streaming/over air are hit/miss in dolby surr modes.

Lack of HDMI Quick Media Switching in 2026 is disappointing. There appears to be some HDMI negotiation issues that can sometimes cause no video out on TV after switching resolutions/refresh rates, as well as occasional audio dropouts. This is possibly a firmware bug that may get fixed in a future update, but something to watch out for.

Outstanding Performance – Denon AVR-X2800H is a Winner! I’ve had my Denon AVR-X2800H for several weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with it. This receiver has seriously elevated my home theater experience. The sound quality is phenomenal. Whether I’m watching movies, streaming shows, or listening to music, the audio is rich, detailed, and immersive. The 7. 2 channel setup with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X delivers that true cinematic feel — dialogue is crystal clear and the surround effects are spot-on. Bass response is tight and powerful without ever sounding muddy. Setup was surprisingly easy thanks to the excellent Denon setup assistant and Audyssey room correction. Within about 30 minutes I was up and running with perfectly calibrated sound. However, connecting it to my new LG OLED TV was a bit more challenging as each device had no small amount of settings to make to work together. But keep at it and you’ll eventually get things working properly. The HEOS app integration works flawlessly for streaming music from Spotify, Tidal, and my local library, and the built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are rock solid. I also love the 8K HDMI support and multiple 8K/4K inputs — future-proofing at its best. The remote is intuitive, and the on-screen interface is clean and easy to navigate. If you’re looking for a premium AV receiver that delivers both incredible performance and modern features without breaking the bank, I highly recommend the Denon AVR-X2800H. It’s been a fantastic purchase and I’m thoroughly impressed. Easily 5 stars

When I placed my order I had a typo on my shipping address. I called customer service to make the correction and issue was solved right I way. Order was shipped right away and received within the promised date and time.

This is the best system I've ever owned and it only cost about $400 refurbished. I still really really would like to be able to use height speakers and top speakers all around anytime I went to and it's not designed for that.

Follow up assistance/support is usually very good. Sometimes you will get a person who is not good helping customers and just doesn't care if the customer is satisfied, I sensed these staff members are not experienced with audio or qualified to offer tech support. They do more damage to business. Mostly inexperienced!
