Danner for design, high quality leather/material grade, sizing options (specific lasts for everyone), premium craftsmanship. For those of us with "Buy it Once, Buy it Right" high standards of shopping. In particular the Made in U. S. A. collection. It's like a good chef knows the outcome is only as good as each ingredient you meticulously select for best outcome. Regarding foot issue I told my doctor I am willing to wear what she advises but only within Danner line. No HOKA or any other trendy, marketed shoe brands. Danner was pioneer hiking boots and continues to build upon that line with product quality and integrity.

I first got these boots in standard width and regular lace up. When they arrived, I realized that they were a little narrow for me. I sent to original order back and ordered the side zip variation in wide. The boots are comfortable for all day work wear. I'm very happy with the purchase and they still look amazing. Both orders arrived quickly and the refund on the return was quick as well.
