I bought these expensive socks because I have an older pair on Dahlgren socks that I liked. This pair doesn't measure up. When I put one on my toenail snagged a thread. To compound the problem, Dahlgren did not stand by their product design problem. They refused to give me a refund for their defective product. I'm terribly disappointed.

Shipping took a bit with customs clearance and weather delays.

I wear a women's 10 shoe, or a European 42, and based on the size chart I could be a medium or a large. I went with large and after washing/drying, they fit perfectly. A medium would have been too tight. I've owned Dahlgren socks that have lasted 10+ years and hardly show any wear. I hope these live up to the same expectations.
