I'm an intermediate crocheter and these patterns have been an absolute joy to work with! I've completed 5 dolls with their original outfits, plus three additional outfits for my granddaughters' dolls. I even made a "clothes horse" doll (still bald!) that I use to test the extra outfits before gifting them, to make sure everything fits perfectly on the finished dolls. The patterns from Crochetree are wonderfully well-written and incredibly easy to follow — even the more detailed pieces came together with very little frustration. The instructions are clear and well-organized, which makes the whole process enjoyable rather than overwhelming. As someone with intermediate skills, I never felt lost or confused at any point. Whether you're still building your skills or have been crocheting for years, I can't recommend these patterns enough. My granddaughters and niece absolutely love their dolls, and I love making them!

I have received my acrylic sticks. They look to be a great quality. I have not used them yet as I am just now starting my first doll project. I am sure they will help make my project turn out the way it should.

The patterns are extremely detailed and yet keep the crafter on the rails. At every key step, the pattern includes what we should see currently and how that relates to the final output. For example, in constructing the knees of the doll, the pattern is clear about what we should do to ensure the knees are centered over the feet and what corrections we can make in our own specific cases. 10/10 on pattern clarity - and the doll is adorable!
