As a first time customer I was disappointed the XXL steel I order arrived damaged but the customer service agent reached out over FB and even called to align with me on a replacement. THIS is how you keep customers and get them to tell others! A replacement was shipped express so I'll have it here in not time. I haven't even used the cooking steel yet but if it's anywhere as good as the customer service, I'll be delighted!

This review is overdue. I live in South America. I ordered a steel through Amazon, it never arrived. I was in the states from 3/24-3/31. I contacted Customer Service (Cody) and he sent a new one @ no charge to my son in St. Louis. I can't wait to try it. Thanks again to all involved. The best service !!!

Highly recommend ordering from Cooking Steels! When I received my cooking steel, there were a few defects in the products. I reached out to Cooking Steels and they immediately responded, apologized and assured me they would send me a brand new one - no questions asked. Within a few business days, the new beautiful steel arrived in mint condition. They told me there was no need to send back the defected steel bundle and gifted it to me for free. I found this company through Amazon, but, as usual, I searched for the company directly and ordered through the website. I was able to find the size and thickness that I wanted as well as getting a factory second. Ordering was easy. Instructions for cleaning and seasoning were clear and easy to follow. I have used it twice: once for cauliflower crust pizza and once for rustic home milled whole wheat bread. Both turned out perfectly. Based on my experience, I have recommended the steel to several friends.
