Service was excellent. I called after placing my order, as their payment processor flagged the order for the billing and shipping addresses not matching (it was a gift). They looked up the order and cleared the block right away, and I got a shipping notification less than 10 minutes after hanging up.

I have visited Claymore imports on several occasions this past year. I have bought almost my entire Highland bagpiper outfit from them. Recently, I bought a very nicely made kilt. I really appreciate what Claymore Imports did a wonderful job of ordering and receiving the Invercauld Highlanders uniform components for me and they arrived in plenty of time for our return to Scotland. Also they ordered a Doublet Jacket with correct measurements from a Scottish clothing manufacturer and had it delivered to a friend in Aberdeenshire before I got there. Heather and Coy are the best!! I was led to believe the practice chanter was in stock since some feral designs we unavailable but the one I ordered was. So I ordered that one. No, it was not in stock, it took 7 weeks to get my order. They said it had to be ordered from Scotland. However the RG Hardie website said it would ship in 3-5 days if I ordered directly from them. Which I should have done. Interestingly one week after I asked for an update on my order I got my order. Not sure if they just lost my order, forgot I ordered it or it really did take RG Hardie 6 weeks to complete my order or not but the lack of communication was disappointing. I also did not insist they honor their website information but I should have. They advertise free shipping on orders over $200. So I added a few items to bring it over $200. They charged my shipping anyway. Other parts of the website said free for orders over $300. Then the said shipping was a flat rate of $4. 95 but the charged me $7. 95 because elsewhere on the site they upped shipping but didn’t change it on the website.

I gave my son his new ghillies and he was very impressed especially by the vibram soles as he wears them most for parades and outdoor competitions. He does note they don't look like 'dress ghillies' due to the soles but appreciates the comfort.

The item wasn’t being sent?? Called company, they explained they didn’t have color of item I wanted , but they had contacted supplier, and one would be eventually coming to me. It did arrive, but an email stating why there would be a delay initially would have been nice.
