Best camping trip ever:) we followed other reviewers advice and brought plenty of deet! You always need bug spray in the tropics. What an amazing week bonding with my two teenage daughters. Tip: do the weekly rental for paddles boards and kayaks. Also, must snorkel at Waterlemon cay.

Perfect spot and a great team!!

We were lucky enough to spend a week in a waterfront cottage. We knew they were old and so had realistic expectations. The cleaning service had our cottage spotless and so welcoming! Enjoyed many meals at the restaurant

My husband and I recently spent our Spring Break , 3 lovely weeks at Cinnamon Bay, this is something we have been doing for many years, in fact we were engaged there and had a beautiful wedding at sunset on the beach 8 years ago! We have always brought our own camping gear and have stayed in one of the bare sites. I have to say we were a little worried when we found out the campgrounds were under new management. We would like to share some of our impressions of the what we experienced. There was a little sticker shock on the price of the bare sites, same sites with no improvements, to warrent this high cost, The bathrooms are still the same, we were surprised to see that they were cleaner, but STILL really pretty bad , we are hoping that they are in the plans to be replaced in the near future. The store has wonderful friendly staff, but is really lacking in appropriate food supplies for camping. Its nice to see all the pretty stuff in there, but we wish you would rethink adding more food choices. The resturant is so beautiful and the setting could not be better, but the food quality is sadly missing. There are so many ways to improve and offer a wonderful dining experience in that wonderful atmosphere. Lastly we would encourage the new management to remember that there are many folks that have been coming to camp at Cinnamon Bay for many, many years, some of these folks are on lower budgets than others, please don't forget these folks, continue to offer the bare sites so Cinnamon Bay can continue to be a Campground for everyone. We look forward to returning time and time again, we feel a very deep connection to St. John and Cinnamon. Thank you for all your hard work, and we would like to thank all your staff for their warmth and friendliness.

OUR STAY IN APRIL WAS WONDERFUL. THANKS TO THE STAFF BOTH ON THE GROUNDS AND AT THE FRONT DESK AS WELL AS IN THE RESTARAUNT! THERE WAS A LITTLE MORE NOISE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION BUT THAT WAS OVER BY LATE AFTERNOON. THE RESTROOMS WHILE OLD WERE ALWAYS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED. THE BEAUUTY OF CINNAMON BAY WILL HAVE US COMING BACK FOR YEARS TO COME!

Great experience with the eco-tents!

My friend and I stayed in the new eco-tent and had an incredible time. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the location is second to none. I cannot recommend this resort more. They have taken the original base of Cinnamon Bay Campgrounds and began to update and revamp it. The new owner seems to understand the importance of keeping this gem true to the island. You will be impressed with their attention to detail.

A friend and I spent 4 nights, April 11 -14 at the campground in a ocean view cottage. We enjoyed our location as well as the restaurant on site. What a beautiful gem in the Virgin Islands National Park!

The renovation work did not disturb the beautiful spot, and having the opportunity to camp within the National Park was amazing. The staff were terrific and really dedicated to making sure guests had great experience. Double thanks to Dalty for hospitality and thoughtfulness.

It was a wonderful stay..we will be back again... and again.

I would like to return to the blue tent

My husband and I completed our third annual stay at Cinnamon Bay this April. We were hooked on this place after our first visit! As always, the staff at Cinnamon Bay are so accommodating and the evening programs are excellent.

I love the sound of the wavesas they lap up onto the beach! I love the beauty of the Caribbean Ocean! I love that I can take a hike right from Cinnamon Bay! I love The beach and the snorkeling! I love the proximity of Trunk Bay and Maho Bay! I love the friendliness of the staff! I love the sunrises, yoga on the beach, and sunsets. This is a special place, where you can recenter yourself and come back to the world re-energized!

We stayed in cabin 10. We had a wonderful time. The staff was awesome. The cabin had some "upkeep" issues that could have been addressed. The outlets are so "big" that all of the items we plugged in were so loose that they fell right out. A screen was pushed out. The back door had hinge issues that prevented it from shutting properly. We used the little metal "safe" and the door would not open, so we had to get maintenance to fix that. Maintenance was awesome and prompt about everything. I love the setting and I have brought several school groups to the cabins. I am saddened to think that the new renovations will make it less of a camping experience, and will drive the price up so that the "budget" travelers will be priced out of it. Hopefully, that will not happen.

A primitive site was what I wanted and got. For my 70 year old body, getting up that last little hill several times to carry my tent and gear was a challenge. It felt very good accomplishing it and having one of your staff, Delaney, help me figure out how to set up the tent. The commisarry tried to stop feeding a half hour early but I was able to get a great soup. Good breakfasts. Five stars 💥💥💥💥💥

I haven camping at cinnamon for years. This is the first year with the new owners. I am disappointed that the bare sites are so few and that the price has climbed. I feel that a little slice of my heaven has been taken away. I would so enjoy the glam camping but doesn't fit into my budget. The restraint is a big improvement. The women in the gift shop were very helpful and friendly. The front desk need some help. I found them not very helpful. And the young man that works in the evening young blond haired man gave the impression that he disliked his job. The food truck at the beach was a nice addition. The two areas of emprovement need to be the bathrooms and the employees in some department.

Shaquilla was awesome. We had a great time. We will definitely visit again.

Staff was friendly and the location was amazing. Restaurant prices were high, so probably better to head into town for a meal. I would definitely do it again.
