This is one of my top five anejos! Agave, oak, vanilla, caramel and pepper stand out for me. I highly reccomend this Anejo!

When things go wrong, I never turn to reviews to air grievances. I always prefer to deal directly with the company on a one-on-one basis. But, in the absence of any response to multiple attempts to contact Chips Liquors, I feel they've earned this honest review. On Oct. 14, I ordered a product for an upcoming special occasion. I received an email confirming shipping on Oct 17. The tracking info indicated the product would arrive Oct 24 - but this message also showed UPS had not yet picked up the package. I checked back on Oct 21 to make sure the package had been picked up and we were on track for the 24th. I saw the same message that the label had been created but the package not picked up, so I reached out to support@chipsliquor.com asking for status and indicating I needed the product urgently. I did not receive a reply. When the package did not arrive on the 24th as indicated, I again emailed support. Once again, I have received no reply. BUT I could see on the UPS site that the status of my order changed, indicating the package had been picked up by UPS on Oct 23 - nearly 10 days after I placed the order. The web site's ABOUT US page specifically states the team offers Same-day Shipping, where the team processes the orders they receive on the same day they receive them. Nice to know, but I didn't count on this - I ordered with a little cushion of time, just in case. And, when I noticed this didn't happen, I emailed support twice to inquire and express the urgency of the order. Today is Oct 27 and the product has still not arrived. Tracking now indicates it will arrive this week on a day when I will be unable to sign for it. Even IF it arrives this week, it will be too late to use for our special occasion. The missed opportunity to use the product is disappointing; paying for a product I can no longer use is dismaying. But the lack of response to the initial order and two customer support emails is unacceptable.

I ordered 2 items from around the 3rd or 4th of September. I was in formed that it would be here in 7 days on the 12th. No show on the 12th, nor the next two days. Tried calling, nobody ever answered. Had to email them twice to finally get a response. Giving credit where credit is due, the did get back to me a week later, informing me what problem was, and they refunded my shipping charge. 31/2 weeks after the initial order, I finally got my order.

Had the two unique liquors in stock that I've been looking for. I don't like to buy alcohol online due to the high shipping cost but this was worth it. Thanks!

Bauer’s Obstler is as any I have ever had in Europe. I am delighted that I can order it from Chip’s by the case and share with Austrian and Swiss friends who make ordering in such a large quantity possible. The rewards program is also very welcome.

The Saint James white rhum 40 degrees is one of the finest white rhum with great flavor of sugar canes. From Martinique FWI, made directly with the sugar cane not the molasse. Love it !! Being loving it for 40 years :-)

I’ve ordered several times from Chips and have previously received great product quickly. However, my most recent order was supposedly shipped 11 days ago, but UPS still reports not yet receiving the package. Emails to support have so far gone unanswered, and the phone number just directs callers back to email. I’ll be happy update my review if this situation gets resolved, but as it stands there seems to have been a significant deterioration in service speed and quality in the months since my las order :-(
