Even though the two halves of this bag ship separately, I received both on the same day -- only a few days after I ordered it; which was great. The box that the base shipped in had broken during shipping, but the base wasn't damaged at all 'cause it's so durable. I was a little concerned because the instructions were missing, but customer service was great: they directed me to some assembly videos online, and sent me replacement instructions.
