We were so excited to have our solar installation today. . The crew arrived on time and Keith even sent me a text letting me know what is arrival time would be. When they arrived they got right to work. They were professional knowledgeable courteous And diligent. Castaways did a fabulous job.

Workmen were effecient! Installer was professional and gave a thorough walkthrough of the inspection process, how the solar energy will be generated to the house, and steps to turn on solar panel when it's time.

I recently completed a job with Castaways and came here to tell everyone what a good experience I had. . . not surprisingly they have a lot of other customers who feel the same. Anthony did a great job helping me arrive at the system that was the right fit for our needs and was extremely professional and courteous of my time (that alone is worth a lot). The thing with solar is most people have never done this before, so don't know what to expect. Anthony assured me that he'd be with me every step of the way to answer Q's etc and he did! After deciding to go with Castaway, they immediately went into action to obtain HOA approval (a bear where I live) and apply for permits with the city. THEY took care of all of that and followup up as needed. Once we received approval, they promptly scheduled a crew to come. Someone came out to preview the house with the plans and modify based on my actual roofline and specs so when the crew arrived the day of - they knew what they were getting into. The crew install lead, Keith, came early to scout everything out. Again, top notch professionalism and attention to detail. Inevitably we encountered some issues with install (normal) but he did an excellent job working the problem and only came to me to keep me updated to their progress. There was about a 1. 5 in gap between my siding and the cinderblocks so he needed to create a workaround on the fly. It added a bit more time to the install, but he figured it out and completed the job in about 2. 5 days. The crew was hardworking and worked long hours in the heat but still worked diligently to get the job done. One man in particular stood out, CJ. It was very apparent how much hustle he had but also that he took care every time he entered my home. He was careful not to track attic insulation around and to be courteous. Have never had any better service. Anthony was knowledgeable and courteous, taking time to answer my questions. He spent extra time and effort to repair a mount, not charging me "extra. " And - told me I would be recieving a partial refund because an error occurred in the billing. After contacting several other solar businesses, I chose Castaways, and am very glad I did.

Today we had a crew from castaways energy do an install of 14 solar panel on our roof. They arrived within the time we expected. They introduced themselves and showed me what they were doing. They were friendly and professional and when finished, they took time to clean up any trash they had created. They were done very quickly and then took the time to explain the next steps which included the upcoming inspection, and then the completion by the power company. Thank you for a job well done!!!

Even though I started out as the customer from hell, I was treated with the highest form of respect; the work was done as if they were working on their own homes. I truly, sincerely love this company. I don't give reviews unless the experience is exceptional. But I must say, I was tempted to leave multiple reviews for my experiences with Castaways Energy. -- In 2018 I purchased Tesla panels and the crew was exceptional and personable so I kept contact information just in case I needed assistance in the future. Fast forward into October 2024, I experienced significant roof damage resulting from a tornado. Tesla had a backlog with a February 2025 date to remove my panels. Tesla also informed me that in order to keep my warranty intact, I needed to use a Tesla 3rd-party partner in an emergency. So I called "T" who installed my system in 2018 and he informed me that he had recently moved onto Castaways with a few other former Tesla crew members who completed my 2018 install and that they were officially a Tesla partner and used Tesla proprietary parts and tools to ensure my 25yr warranty remained intact. I submitted an intake that evening and got a call back the next morning. Experience-1: Taming the Beast I have to give a special shout out to Maria who was extremely gracious dealing with me and my frantic "Karen" demands to have my questions answered and have the commitment to use everything "Tesla proprietary" and to do so in writing. I apologized to her several times, because I had been battling with insurance companies trying to get hurricane Milton adjusters and claims processed which was a 2-month nightmare. Maria was a saint and very skilled at putting the genie back into the bottle whenever I called to speak with her by accommodating my every request. She even gave me her personal cell for text and responded to me after hours due to my work schedule. She's truly the glue that makes everything stick.
