I know it works because I just spent a week in Hawaii, and I didnÕt use it the first several days because I was afraid of burning. I was trying to build up a base tan first before using this stuff. I ended up using it only on my last two days at the beach. Today. . . we only got an hour of beach time because we were flying back to SF in the afternoon. So in the morning, before heading out to the beach, I put a light coat (seriously a light coat) of this stuff all over my body. . . EXCEPT MY FACE. I left my face bare. We spent one hour at the beach, swam in the ocean for about 30 minutes, and my body tanned DARK (even burned a little even though I had a base tan). . . but my face barely got any color at all! ItÕs evening now and I am back from Hawaii. . . and looking in the mirror itÕs very clear that my face is sooo much paler than the rest of my body! I didnÕt use any sunscreen, so itÕs got to be this tanning lotion that made such a difference. And thatÕs AFTER SWIMMING and no reapplying! You seriously do not need to reapply this stuff after swimming. It stays on your skin even in water. I love the scent of this lotion, as well. ItÕs not a fresh scent through. . . instead itÕs a nutty carrot and coconut scent. unusual, however definitely beachy scent. YouÕll see what I mean once you get a tub yourself. Not too strong. And the scent doesnÕt last. I love the way it smells, personally, and I wouldnÕt mind if it lasted a lot longer, in fact. The scent blends great with my beachy summer fragrances. I was skeptical. Now I know this stuff is serious business. If you do not have a base tan, I would use extreme caution with this stuff. Definitely use sunscreen under it, if your skin is not already tan. Or just forget using this until your skin is truly ready for it. Word to the wise. A few other comments: you do not need to use a lot of this, so donÕt. You will only waste the product if you use a lot. IÕve made a dent in mine but IÕve still got plenty left to use. . ....

I love this sun tanning oil due to it being dry and sand-proof! SPF10 is sufficient for me to stay in the sun for an hour and get a good tan. Smells divine and application goes like a silk! There's oil in this one but it is more of a silicone based tanning oil (hence "dry oil") & I noticed that the upside of silicone based sun tanning oil keeps your skin cool while tanning.

Keeps me protected & I Used it for the first time today! I love it and have already ordered more!
