I've been only wearing Thorogood's for over 10+ years. I have seen and felt their quality get less and less in that time. I ordered Carolina's with some hesitation for not knowing the company and the price of these boots. Let me just say, these feel lighter, the material is clearly superior, and wouldn't you know, a wide boot that is actually wide. American made, comfortable and quality true to its price. Expensive, yes. Worth it? Absolutely. I have no need to look for another boot.
