This is my second calista tool. I love how it works. I have recommended it to my friends. I have one concern. My new brush has a slight burning smell while heating. Why does it smell?

They cool off faster than I remember the old ones doing but I just leave them in longer.

I am very disappointed in this hair tool. I bought it hoping to use it to give my hair on the crown of my head some lift. If you want vertical curls for longer hair, it will do this, but no lift.
