I bought this knife because it has the Eagle Scout emblem stamped into the bolster. I never was an Eagle scout; but I was a cub scout, back when it meant something wholesome. Plus it showed up to my house looking beyond excellent with highly polished scales, bolsters and excellent fit and finish. The nickel silver bolsters look fantastic on this knife. I wanted to buy another but they were sold out almost immediately.
