The Summit has a low RG value of 2.46 a medium differential of 0.056 making it the strongest symmetric ball to date from Storm. Starting on the inside, the Centripetal HD weight block is surrounded by the ALL-NEW A.I. (Amplified Inertia) outer core. This new combination drives the RG down and the differential up ensuring this ball spins up fast. Paired with the TX-23 Hybrid Cover, the Summit provides enhanced oil absorption for even better grip on those slick conditions. Which in turn gives you the bowler the ability to open up the lanes more I did a ball comparison to the 900 Global Zen Master, Storm Absolute and the 900 Global Reality Check at 42 ft house shot, 25 ml of oil. The layout chosen 15 x 5 5/16 x 25. In comparison to the 900 Global Zen Master, the Summit starts up quicker and is more aggressive off the spot verses the Zen Master that’s a pinch cleaner and more rounded off the spot. Through the shots you will see how the Summit and the Zen Master are very similar even going 5 and 3 left they both keep up with each other. It wasn’t until I went deep inside where the Summit out hooked the Zen Master. In comparison to the Storm Absolute, The Summit starts up quicker and overall hooks way more. The Absolute has a R2S Deep Hybrid cover with a similar RG of 2.48 verses a 2.46 of the Summit and a lower differential of 0.050 verses a 0.056 so in retrospect of numbers the Absolute should hook more but the TX-23 cover is a lot higher on the strength scale verses R2S an in turn hooks more. In comparison to the 900 Global Reality Check, the Summit also starts up quicker and stronger off the spot. The Reality Check is a much cleaner option even being an asymmetric ball with a more rounder shape verses the Summit with a more sharper shape that climbs the hill much stronger on the heavier conditions. As per the surface adjustments, the Summit at box surface is 3000 grit which will be strong a continuous and round off the spot At 2,000 Polish the ball will go a little l...
paid for overnight delivery, which was confirmed on the emailed confirmation. Then the shipment went out via GROUND service and missed my friend's birthday bowling party (shoes were a gift to her). The vendor did not even have the professional courtesy to answer my email when I brought this bait and switch to his attention. UNPROFESSIONAL, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, AND WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS "BUSINESS" AGAIN.
Great company,will purchase through again
The Exotic Gem is almost exactly what I expected out of a pearl version of the Gem, however one surprising takeaway is the sheer midlane strength this core continues to provide, even with the shiny pearl cover. I drilled mine with a 5x4x4 layout for control through the front and a little smoother transition down the lane. I am a low track player, 470RPM, 14 degrees of tilt and 55 degrees of axis rotation, avg 16.4 MPH. It's a perfect combo along with the original Gem! I'm not able to stay right on top of where I begin when I transition out of the Gem (or Reality), but a nice 3/2 or 4/3 move inside gets me exactly where I need to be to continue striking on most conditions. I did adjust the surface to 500/1000/Step 2 polish just based on personal preference as I think I get a little truer read with a bit more teeth under the surface along with the extra traction the compound provides me.
Good value
Core: Epoch Asymmetric Covers: S84 Response Pearl Finish: Reacta Gloss RG: 2.51 (14lb) Differential: 0.044 (14 lb) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 16-17 MPH Rev Rate: 420 PAP: 5 1/2 R 7/16 Up Ball Layout: Pin under Ring 5 1/2 X 4 X 3 1/2 VLS When the Altered Reality was discontinued, it was a crushing blow as that high end strong cover, strong core, pearl asymmetric ball was one of my absolute favorites. When I saw that a replacement was going to be coming, in the form or the Eternity, I was really excited. First let’s start with the colors, the silver, black, and purple as just stand out, with the yellow engraving. This ball looks amazing, but looks are not the only thing amazing about this ball. Using a pin down layout and a bigger pin buffer, I wanted to let this ball just go and that is exactly what I got. This ball has no issues clearing the front of the lane, while still being able to get in the hook phase in the right spot. I didn’t have to worry about this ball making the corner, as like it’s predecessor (Altered) this ball saves a lot for the down lane motion. I had this ball a touch less than the Altered, but that most likely is due to the difference in the layouts between the two balls. Comparing this to the Reality Check, drilled similar, the Reality Check is a couple feet sooner and was more forward down lane. The balls would play well off each other when the fronts start to get chewed up, you can get to the Eternity and still stay in the same zone for longer. I would see this ball being very good for a variety of styles, and see it excelling in a higher rev rate player later in blocks in tournaments. Overall another super stellar release from 900 Global. The Electrify G/O is a great option for medium to light oil, especially at box surface. I went with my usual 5 x 80 drill on this one, which gets me excellent length with a controlled breakpoint off of friction. When I threw this ball out of the box, it was a bit quicker off of friction than I wanted to see, so I went over the cover lightly with a 3000 pad to just take off a little bit of the shine. This changed the entire look for me. The .030 differential keeps the ball from hooking too early, even with the surface change. This piece works best when the lanes have opened up a little bit and you've got some friction built up to work with and blend the reaction out. Great ball for 3rd game or late in tournaments!
The Hyped Solid is just about the most perfect definition of "benchmark" that I can think of for a league night, or even a tournament setting, excluding very short or very long oil. I drilled mine with a 5 x 80 layout and it is by far the smoothest ball front to back in my bag. It's almost difficult to get in trouble with this type of ball reaction. I'm able to keep my angles straight, not give the ball away from the pocket too early, and make nice and easy moves as the night progresses. I average 475rpm, 16mph and have about 15 degrees of tilt. I took the surface down to 2000 and it blends the wet/dry conditions I see about as well as can be asked for! Hyped Solid is absolutely a winner you shouldn't sleep on!

Gem - Ball Specs Cover Stock: MicroTrax Solid Reactive Cover Stock Finish: 2000 Grit Core: Defiant LRG Core Layout: 50 x 5 x 40 RG: 2.47 Differential: 0.053 Intermediate Diff: .016 Review The GEM is the latest addition to Roto Grips HP4 line of balls. Roto Grip circled the wagons back to the Defiant series to create the Defiant LRG Core by altering the composite shape of this core which makes it faster revving, stronger, and continuous, wrapped in the most aggressive MicroTrax solid reactive coverstock. Not only does this ball look great but it definitely throws it weight around. I tested the Gem on a 44 feet typical house pattern, I was able to play track area and deep inside with great success. The Gem reads early in the midlane and had a lot of energy on the backend for a continuous motion with great pin carry. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. If you were a fan of the Hustle Ink like i was then this is a match for you . The Hustle Camo features the VTC coverstock. The ball motion on this ball is a little stronger for me than the ink but also very predictable and very smooth. League bowlers on lower volume house shots this ball would be a money make in your bag.
Nice pair of shoes. Comfortable and stylish. I like!
