I have kept this product on hand for the last six years since my heart surgery. The medium size can can fit nicely in a water bottle pouch and in those moments when I get short of breath from walking too long or yard maintenance, they mean the difference between gasping for air and getting my breath back quickly. I haven't really noticed a difference when I use the product. I don't want to say it doesn't work because I'm not sure if it is just me, I have Asthma and get out of breath after exertion and I normally use an albuterol inhaler, I was hoping to be able to not use the inhaler.
