This is a clean smelling, very forgiving soap. I have a tough beard and it works well. This is also a lather on your face soap in my opinion. Get the brush wet, wet your face, then go to the soap bowl. Don’t lather up in the bowl, don’t add lots of water, just get the brush filled. Then - create the lather on your face. The oil in the soap makes the razor glide. Too much water and you lose the point of the soap. Will buy again. Good product.
