I had been looking for a well made, high quality analog watch that could do it all - rugged enough for outdoor activity use but classy enough for more indoor use. I also needed a clear second hand sweep. I found the BG Sandon and after some very helpful conversations with Mark, the owner, on what I needed, we landed on the white face. I couldn't be happier with the watch and the customer service is unparalleled. I highly recommended the Sandon and that fact that the watch is made in Calgary makes purchasing one of these a no brainer!

My wife purchased me one of the B&G original swiss movement watches several years ago. Originally it had an issue and Mark fixed it for me. Most recently that same model had another issue and Mark went above and beyond and offered to fully replace that model at no cost. I opted for the Sandon as it was very close in style to my original piece. As with all his work the watch was impeccable, sleek and appears to be durable. This company has come a long way and quality is top of the line and service is not only personal but like no other. When the watchmaker is willing to work with you and stand by their craft you couldn't ask for more.

The BG Sandon is a beautiful watch, upon unboxing & picking up the weight was balanced, with clear instructions. Shipping was quick, and the purchasing experience was extremely smooth! Wearing the watch is something that also feels great on my wrist! Will fit on both small and big wrists and really stand out! The leather band is one that is soft, but feels extremely durable. My first experience with a quality automatic watch has been satisfied with a BG Sandon on my wrist everyday.

Watch looks as great in person as shown on the website. I like that it is locally made and designed and while I just received it, it looks like it will stand up to abuse and retain its appearance.

Beautiful timepiece. top quality precision time making

Very nice watch and I imagine it will last decades. However, I wished I had done my research a bit better as I am not a big person and the watch is almost as wide as my wrist and feels a bit large for me. I will happily pass it onto a family member and look for something smaller.

I emailed before ordering to see if I could extend the 14 day return time as I was buying the watch as a gift. They responded very quickly and were very helpful. The watch arrived very soon after ordering it. My only complaint is that one of the red stitches on the band is noticeably thicker than the others, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. My boyfriend absolutely adores it and has worn it every day since he got it.

He’s nicely balanced detail with minimalism, tradition with new, & dress with casual, in a perfectly-proportioned 39mm case that will sit comfortably on most wrists. Clever & unique subtleties reveal themselves to the wearer over time. The fit & finish are high quality, with clean edges & surfaces all over. The 20mm 2-stitch strap complements the case & dial very well, & the leather appears both luxurious & durable. The clean & attractive Miyota 9015 movement, visible through the display back, pairs perfectly with the aesthetic & the ethic of the rest of the watch. Well-known as a reliable workhorse, it’s unlikely to ever break, but I have total confidence Mark will stand behind his product if it ever does. The BG Classic offers micro-brand made-in-Canada intrigue & exclusivity at an affordable price. It could easily find its place in a larger watch collection, or it could also be the only watch you’ll ever need!

In a digital era, analogue machines are a good reminder of the simpler times. The perfectly balanced weight, bespoke leather strap and craftsmanship are beautifully packaged into this elegant classic piece. I will cherish it for years to come. Many thanks, BG!
