I was so happy to find Green River soda available at Beverages Direct. I found a bottle of Green River at a store in St. Charles, MO. I went on line to find Beverages Direct and purchased a case of Green River and had it sent to my house in North Carolina. It tastes just like I remember. My mother, sister and I use to walk to this restaurant about a mile from our house when I was 6 or 7. They had Green River on the soda fountain and we would always get it. Thanks Beverages Direct for bringing back those memories and, of course, thanks for the Green River.

Okay, so you're on a fancy website where you can order gourmet beverages like a soda-snob, right? And you're thinking there's no way that you would order a major brand that you can buy at your local grocery store. Now, here's where I say hold on a moment. A&W is great root beer. The flavor is right in that perfect zone of not-bitter but not-too-sweet. The sweetness doesn't overwhelm. And you've probably already heard: A&W is the best for icecream floats. That's why I say, you're already here. Why not add A&W to whatever else you are going to order and save yourself a trip to the store? It makes sense to me. A&W may not be "gourmet" but it is yummy and refreshing.

Blem. Hot ginger ale retains youth tasting hot flavor. An excellent mixer with brown whiskies!
