I was looking for a replacement Bilco bulkhead door for my house and initially considered ordering through Home Depot. After searching online and comparing options, I came across Basement Supply — and I’m really glad I did. Not only were they a local company, but they also offered free shipping, which was a huge bonus. I actually found a slightly lower price elsewhere at first, but once shipping was added, it ended up costing over $200 more. Basement Supply saved me money and could get the door to me within just a couple of days. Their communication throughout the process was excellent as well. I received a call asking what delivery day would work best for me, and on the day of delivery they gave me a heads-up that they were on the way. When they arrived, they even offered to bring the bulkhead door into my backyard instead of just doing a tailgate delivery. Great pricing, fast delivery, and outstanding customer service.
