As a composer and mixer, I’m constantly searching for tools that offer precision, clarity, and insight into the sonic landscape—and the Audeze MM-500 headphones have exceeded every expectation. What immediately stood out to me was the spatialization. The MM-500s offer an incredibly precise stereo image—I can pinpoint where each instrument sits in the mix with far greater clarity than before. This has significantly improved my ability to shape depth and width in my productions. Another remarkable strength is how the MM-500s reveal reverb tails and ambience. I find myself far more attuned to how much reverb is present on a particular element, helping me make more intentional decisions when crafting space and depth. It's like having a magnifying glass on the decay time—subtle differences that were once elusive are now obvious. Perhaps the most transformative change has been in the low-mid clarity, particularly around the 250–300Hz range. This area can easily become congested and muddy, but with the MM-500s, the buildup in this range is much more apparent. I’m now able to address low-mid issues with confidence, resulting in cleaner, tighter mixes. In short, the Audeze MM-500s have become an indispensable part of my workflow. They provide a level of transparency and detail that genuinely elevates my mixing and production decisions.

It's a REALLY good sounding wireless headset. However it ships with "sidetone" enabled and on mine that resulted in an annoying crackle that I couldn't get rid off. You need to install the app to turn that off, and then the crackle goes away. It's handling of Dongle plus Bluetooth makes some sense I suppose, but I found it really annoying, my IPad would notify me despite being 20ft away downstairs, and I'd lose game audio for multiple seconds.

I love the LCD-S20s. The soundstage is huge and accurate, like super accurate. The precision of detail in the sounds is really awesome. I have the LCD-Xs as well, and I use the LCD-S20s a lot more frequently. It is nice to not need an amp and still get great quality playing straight off my phone or computer. The bass is deep but not muddy, and the mids and highs are snappy and detailed. These are my go-to cans for dialing in a mix or tones before recording. I have used them some for mastering, but still use my LCD-Xs mostly for mastering. Solid performance, great build and overall deal. Granted I purchased at a pretty large discounted price- that being said I would purchase at the full price if it came to that. Tried several other headphones from other brands, though some at a much lower cost- those never offered the same level of detail, spatial separation, nor clarity (to my liking). The LCD 2, I feel is perfect entry to Audeze in general, granted it all depends on musical preference and prefered sound signatures- I would wholeheartedly recommend the LCD 2 to anyone looking to dabble into the world of headphones or just wanting to extract more out of your listening experience. (Audeze. . . I know this is not in your brand image. . . . But if you ever released a "Audeze Girly" bumper sticker- I'd buy it.

As title states LCDX is def a step up from the Classics in the low and high ends. Not to take away from the LCD-2C as they are fantastic as well and, in my opinion, have better vocals. The vocals on the LCD-2C's are some of the best I have ever heard. Some say they are too forward, but I think they are fantastic. Where the X's shine are in the highs and lows. The highs have that sparkle which bring fwd the level of detail and its very good at portraying the correct amount of low end for the recording. For example, if the track is not particularly bassy the LCD-X will not be particularly bassy. If the track is thunderous the LCD-X will be thunderous. It never gives the impression that it's pushing a certain sound signature all the time. I EQ but I found LCD-X does not need much to get to my sound preference. I will end by stating: If the recording is bad the LCD-X's will sound like crap but if it's a good recording. . . WOW. They can't make poor recordings sound good, but they do make good recordings sound incredible.
