I feel I need to share. In May of this year I experienced unacceptable customer service when I had my 2023 Cub Cadet lawn tractor serviced for oil and filter. I clearly communicated no additional service was to be done without speaking to me. I did not receive any calls and when I called to arrange delivery and pay the invoice the amount owing was not the quoted $179. 99+tax it was $659. 89! I was told blades, air filter, battery and spark plugs had to be replaced. In shock I paid the invoice and had tractor delivered, I requested my old blades be returned to me what I received were 2 bent, rusted blades with holes rusted through, no way were these from my tractor that was less than 3 years old and hardly used in 2025 due to the extreme dry summer we had. As well there was no mention of the damage to the ignition cover plate when they apparently repaired a stuck starter, it looks to have been pried off with a screwdriver, clips are broke and no longer securely attached. I went to the service desk to address my concerns and experienced a condescending exchange with a woman who when asked if she was the owner simply shrugged her shoulders, I felt she called me a liar when I told her I did not receive a call for the additional service her response was that her technicians always call before doing any additional service and I could bring the tractor in and have the parts removed if I wanted. I am a senior and so disappointed in supporting this locally owned business and the customer service I received.
